Since the early oughts I’ve been keeping this online diary.

I’m a hacker in the traditional “I wonder how that works?” sense, a problem-solver, puzzle-enthusiast. I was that kid who took apart all his toys to make new ones. I’ve been the work-day corporate type and the startup entrepreneur, variously a software engineer, systems administrator, and leader. I’m a martial arts student, motorcyclist, bicyclist, an avid reader, a kitchen (mis-)adventurer, and an amateur metalworker and blacksmith.

This site has been through a number of iterations in self-hosting from hand-written HTML to Perl scripts through MovableType, Wordpress, and Textpattern and now is driven by Hugo.
